Accessing School Computers from Home
Staff and students can access school computers from home using a remote access technique called `Remote Desktop Protocol` (RDP). This is installed as standard on modern home computers.
To access the school, download the Churchill settings file by clicking on this link (or this link if you use Windows 7 or Vista) and save the file to your home computer`s desktop. This way all you have to do in future is double click the settings file and you will connect - you don`t need to download the file every time you connect.
If you are using an Apple Mac it will be necessary to download the Microsoft Remote desktop connection application in order to open the churchill settings file. You can do this by clicking on this link.
If you have a problem, then please read the help file for Windows by clicking on this link or Apple Mac, by clicking on this link or Linux, by clicking on this link.
Please note it may be necessary for you to enter your username in the format of Username@churchill
(i.e. If your username is 12345 then you would need to enter 12345@CHURCHILL)
you must use the same password that you use when you log in at school.
